What a wonderful way to close out our year. Family. We spent a lovely afternoon with
Scott's parents. Jean finished her last round of chemotherapy this week and, thanks to many prayers and tender mercies from our Heavenly Father, she will leave all that behind in 2014. I am humbled and grateful to note that despite all Bob and Jean had going on this past year they continued to show our little family a great deal of kindness, generosity, and love. The older I get the more I realize that it is people that matter most. It is people that give us meaning and purpose. It is people that draw us together. I am so glad that we are part of Bob and Jean's "people."
